Starting as the star of Hood Documentary now nothing short of a cult icon, Kayode Ewumi continues to make big movements. He’s just announced that he’s created a new online BBC Three sitcom, Enterprice, which he will also star in alongside Daniel Ezra, Ivanno Jeremiah and Femi Elufowoju Jr.
The plot follows Kazim and Jeremiah, two young entrepreneurs in the early stages of starting their own home delivery service, Speedi-Kazz.
The BBC writes, “Both are blessed with different skill-sets: Kazim has the energy and confidence, Jeremiah has the brains – but on occasion these differences can leave them at loggerheads. We follow their fledgling business, and this awkward bromance, as it makes its way into the homes of Kazim and Jeremiah’s fellow Londoners.”
Kayode Ewumi said, “The fact that I filmed this around my area – Elephant and Castle – made it even more of a beautiful experience for me. The cast and crew were amazing and I believe that Enterprice showcases growth in my writing. YAAAA BWOY!!!!”
The show comes as part of BBC Three’s “Comedy Slices” pilot list, where 12 pilots will be released over various channels.
You can watch Enterprice and the other shows online this October.
