Kendrick Lamar has surprised fans by sporadically announcing his new venture, a media company called pgLang.
He took to social media to share a visual mission statement, with the intriguing visuals showing an array of big names such as Baby Keem, Jorja Smith and Yara Shahidi.
On the website for pgLang, a statement reads: “Our community speaks music, film, television, art, books and podcasts – because sometimes we have to use different languages to get the point of our stories across.”
The rapper previously stated that not only has he got a percentage in the label Top Dawg Entertainment but he is working on stuff outside of music such as television and film. The new beginning is in collaboration between Kendrick and Dave Free, who recently left TDE.
