Comedian and actor Kevin Hart has suffered major injuries after being involved in a car accident in the early hours of Sunday (local time).
The 40-year-old was the passenger in a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when the driver lost control of the car after turning on a highway in California. According to the California Highway Patrol, the car then fell down an embankment in Malibu.
The California Highway Patrol have also reported Kevin Hart and the driver – Jared Black – were taken to hospital after Hart and the second passenger – Rebecca Broxterman – made it back to the comedian’s house to seek medical attention.
While little information has been released regarding his injuries, TMZ have reported Kevin Hart has sustained major back injuries.
Many of Kevin Hart’s friends and peers have taken to social media to wish the actor well, including Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
“Stop messing with my emotions brother @kevinhart4real. We have a lot more laughing to do together. Love you man. Stay strong”, Johnson wrote on Instagram.
