We all know someone forging a career on YouTube and perhaps even know people who’ve significantly changed their life from the content they upload to the platform. Yet there is kid over in the US who has taken it to another level…

Meet the mini mogul who made a staggering $22 million dollars last year reviewing toys on YouTube! Ryan, like most kids his age, loves playing with toys. Yet, he has also secured the bag as the “host” of family run toy review channel, Ryan ToysReview.

The channel claimed top spot on Forbes annual list of YouTube stars who generated the highest revenue, beating the likes of Jake Paul and PewDiePie in the process.

It all began when a four year old Ryan would watch toy reviews on YouTube, and he questioned to his parents why he couldn’t upload reviews of his own. Ryan ToysReview started off slowly and only started to grow in 2015 when this video, which now has just under 935 million views, went viral.

Over time, they have amassed an overall 26 billion views on all of their videos and have over 17 million subscribers. Ryan’s influence in the toy market is unrivalled, where toys featuring in his videos sell out as soon as the video is published.
