In a recent interview, the world-famous reality tv star revealed her ongoing escapade into the academic world.
Following her highly-documented campaign for the exoneration and release of Alice Marie Johnson – a 63-year-old woman who was convicted over 20 years ago – Kim K has since been prompted to delve even deeper into law.
First taking on a four-year apprenticeship at a law firm in San Fransico last summer, Kim has decided to further her studies and gain a criminal law degree.
In her interview, KKW spoke about her time working on Johnson’s case and seeing how attorneys work and immediately felt she needed to know more. Following in her late father Robert Kardashian’s footsteps, the style icon wants to fight to fix the system.
Currently being mentored by lawyers Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney who help her with 18 hours of weekly supervised study, Kim states that torts are her least favourite part of studying law and claims that she can do criminal law “in [her] sleep”. She also went onto note that she scored 100 in her first test and is set to take the bar exam in 2022.
So we could be seeing Kim Kardashian West taking centre stage in U.S courtrooms in the near future.
