North-west London spitter King Kay has returned with visuals for his latest single, “Last Days Of Summer”!
Deploying sharp rhymes over a classical, Just Blaze-inspired beat, King Kay taps into his introspective bag as he digs deep into his subconscious.
For the self-directed visuals, Kay takes things in a minimalist route as he’s depicted rhyming in a white studio — whilst the camera cuts between black and white shots of Kay in an earth-toned fit.
“This single is one of my rawest and honest records to date. I tried to offload the pain of some of the struggles and battles I faced earlier in the year. I hope the listeners and viewers can connect with this one deeper.”
“Last Days Of Summer” is pencilled in to be the opening cut from Kay’s forthcoming project of the same name and follows the rapper’s well-received track “One Hunna” from late July.
