Fans of Kodak Black would have rejoiced earlier this week as he was released from county jail in Florida, having served almost four months for drug possession charges. The celebrations will have been short lived however, as he has now been swiftly extradited to South Carolina where he is to face much more serious charges of sexual battery.
The incident in question took place in February in a local hotel where Kodak Black is alleged to have “forced the victim onto the bed in the room and then onto the floor of the room.” Kodak is alleged to have “forcefully removed the victim’s underwear, assaulted her orally, and penetrated her without consent.” The police report also went on to state that Kodak Black bit the victim on her neck and chest, with the attack continuing despite the victims pleas for him to stop.
His promising musical career may now be jeopardised by the charges laid against him, as in South Carolina charges of this nature carry a maximum 30 year imprisonment.
