Birmingham-raised rapper Kofi Stone unveils his latest single and video, “Black Joy”, a poignant ode to the black experience.
The track is a deeply layered reflection of Kofi’s upbringing. Produced by Joice, the track harks back to hip-hop’s golden era, intertwining introspective storytelling with profound honesty. It celebrates blackness amidst adversity, whilst the video, co-directed by Ade Adesina, Kofi himself and Sena Dzotsi, journeys through the black family home, capturing life’s milestones with reverence and appreciation.
