Konan, without his partner-in-rhyme Krept this time, celebrates Christmas with the release of “Delroy’s Son”.
The deeply personal track is a tribute to his father, reggae icon Delroy Wilson and serves as a follow-up to My Letter from the Tsunami mixtape. The South Londoner describes the song as a heartfelt update to his father, reflecting on his journey through life, highlighting both triumphs and challenges. Featured on the upcoming album Young Kingz II, the track is accompanied by a moving music video, including scenes of his return to Jamaica, where he visited his father’s grave and reconnected with his heritage.
