North-west London’s Kwaku Asante returns with new single “Wait For Me”.

Marking the announcement of his forthcoming EP, Wanderlust, the vulnerable single reflects Kwaku’s pain at being let down by a love who went back on a promise and moved on.

Speaking on the single Kwaku said, “This song is about meeting a person when you’re not in the right frame of mind. You think that person will wait for you to get yourself together which will allow you to carry on like nothing happened and live happily ever after. But anyone worth waiting for should never wait for anyone in reality.

The single will no doubtedly be performed at his headline show at Jazz Cafe on 28th November. His co-signs have been piling up, with Jamz Supernova, DJ Spoony and more getting behind his craft. Artwork for the single was shot by a legendary creative known in the grime scene, Vicky Grout.
