Ghanaian star, Kwesi Arthur, is back with some hard-hitting art in the form of his new release “Pain Interlude”.
On the track, Kwesi flexes his talent with artistic flows, dynamic vocals and smooth bars delivered over a hip hop trap-style beat. The lyrics speak to the ups-and-downs of this “game of life”. He gets vulnerable in this one, opening up about the betrayal and hurt that he has experienced in his past. But it’s not all doom and gloom: the key take-home message in this song is that there’s no gain without pain.
The black-and-white visuals are cinematic enough to be on the big screen, with Kwesi playing the role of a persevering boxer struggling to provide for himself and his pregnant partner.
Kwesi Arthur has given us something special with this new release. Make sure to soak in the track and visuals above now on GRM Daily.
