Rising musician Kwoli Black returns this week with his brand new single, a track that he’s called “Imposter”.
The introspective track is led with a powerful violin, guiding his heartfelt monologue in which he announces himself with fire in his belly. His burning desire to succeed is reflected in his piercing vocals across the instrumental from close friend and producer JSTRNGS.
Speaking on the single he said: “This song is my swan song to a chapter of feeling like I’m an imposter in this scene. It signals the acceptance of my feelings but also the end of me just resigning to them. It’s for all the artists and creatives, or anyone that has felt not quite good enough or questioned if they will ever make it. Fuck that. We will.”
