PSG player Kylian Mbappe has been named as the latest football star to appear on the cover of EA Sports’ FIFA games series.
The French forward is set to take centre stage for the cover of the new game, which will drop on October 9.
The 21-year-old, who has already won the World Cup as well as the French League title with hid club, Paris Saint-Germain, commented on how much of an “honour” it was to be chosen.
He said: “Being on the cover of FIFA is a dream come true. From my time at Bondy to Clairefontaine to the World Cup, this marks another big milestone.
“I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid and I am honoured to represent a whole new generation of footballers and be in the same group as many other amazing footballers who I now share this honour with.”
Other huge names in the sports world who have also made the cover of the game series in the past include Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney and Thierry Henry.
