Barbados’ Lagoon Wavey Shares Silky R&B Cut “Occupied”

Rising Barbados singer-songwriter Lagoon Wavey has gifted us with a brand-new single titled “Occupied”.

Lagoon Wavey is known for fusing R&B, electronica and reggaeton but on his latest offering, it’s nothing but sultry R&B vibes as he lays down his vocals on the slow-paced production.

“Occupied” serves as Lagoon Wavey’s first release of the year following a busy 2021 where he dropped The Shore EP – which received a cosign from BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Jamz Supernova.

Lagoon Wavey chooses to solely collaborate with fellow Bajan creatives and we can expect him to showcase more of the sounds the island has to offer in 2022.
