What happens if we put an NBA superstar like LeBron James and the producer of record-breaking movie ‘Black Panther’ together? That’s right, a long-awaited sequel to the 1996 Michael Jordan/Looney Tunes collaboration ‘Space Jam’!
If that wasn’t enough, Terrence Nance is also part of the line up, appointed as director per Springhill Entertainment. Enlisting an all-star line up of directors and actors, we cannot forget that it’s also James’ debut to playing a lead role in a film.
When interviewed by a Hollywood publication, James assured: “The ‘Space Jam’ collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie.”
Whilst it’s still unclear whether the original star of the movie, Michael Jordan, will appear within the new version of the re-mastered classic, we have plenty of teasers to keep us going before the release date that indicate it may be released on January 23, 2021.
