We’ve seen Jay-Z work with Kanye, Drake combine with Future and as far as illustrious link ups go, Lil Baby and Lil Durk add to the list as they release their powerful joint project The Voice of the Heroes.
Two of hip-hop’s most influential artists in recent times have put the hours in to give us a bar-heavy 18-track project which features the likes of Philly’s own Meek Mill, YSL’s Young Thug and breakthrough artist Rod Wave.
Voice of the Heroes sees both Baby and Durk at their best. Lil Baby’s capacity to rhyme non-stop bars is seen on “Who I Want”, whilst Lil Durk brings the gritty lifestyle and melodies on the pain-ridden “Medical”. Other standout tracks include “Hats Off” as the duo call upon Travis Scott who brings the 2015 Rodeo vibes back.
