Chicago’s Lil Durk returns promptly following the well-received release of The Voice (Deluxe), that gave us 12 bonus tracks to enjoy at the end of January.
Following this, he’s surprised fans with the collaboration we never knew we needed, enlisting Kehlani to bring us a new version of the track “Love You” from the deluxe cut.
The melodic, mellow and dark instrumental is the perfect fit for the duo. Lil Durk does not disappoint in his opening with his original verse, flexing his vocal ability in a heartfelt declaration of love with Kehlani matching his energy on her verse. The feature choice in this version brings a whole new feel to the track, with Kehlani’s punchy vocals compared to the softer delivery of Sydny August on the original.
