Lil Nas X is here to claim Christmas with the release of his new festive anthem, “Holiday”.
Lil Nas X has begun his campaign to the top of the Christmas charts by releasing “Holiday”, after spending the week teasing his fans on Instagram with sneak peeks of the blockbuster-worthy music video.
It seems that the “Old Town Road” was a little longer than expected as this track is the first tune that Lil Nas X has dropped since “Rodeo” was released back in 2019. However, he has clearly spent the time working on his craft as “Holiday” blends his signature 808 heavy basslines with an original sounding flow.
“Holiday” sees Lil Nas X step in to rescue Christmas after a day of drinking leaves Father Christmas too drunk to drive his convertible sports car sleigh. Not all heroes wear capes, this one wears a silver santa suit and some Air Jordans.
