Lil Wayne brings Eminem on to his weekly Young Money Radio show to sit down and discuss their music, basketball and what new artists they’re listening to.

The mutual respect and appreciation the pair have for each other is evident throughout this interview as they compliment each other on their skill and craftsmanship.

Eminem declares Wayne’s two verses on “Mona Lisa” one of the top five verses of all time, and can’t hold back the opportunity to tell him his thoughts.

This is definitely one for the super fans as the rappers get into some intricate breakdowns of verse structures which uncovers the fact that both the stars google their own lyrics to ensure they aren’t reusing structures. Wayne also admits he likes to experiment with new-age flows but finds himself regressing after four or so bars.

Lil Wayne said, “If you go through my phone history, my Google history and you press L, the first thing that will come up is Lil Wayne lyrics. I literally have to Google my lyrics to make sure I didn’t say certain stuff before.”

Eminem replied, “Oh my god. Yo, I swear to god I do that too.”

The interview flows freely both ways with Slim taking the reigns and throwing in a few questions of his own. They discuss the new artists in the game they are listening to and connect over their similar musical tastes.
