Little Simz has taken to Twitter this afternoon to hit out at Radio 1 and the industry, putting them on blast for some alleged dodgy business.
She has said in a series of tweets that she was due to premiere her sophomore album, Stillness In Wonderland, on the station in its entirety today, before she was blocked by somebody there.
It’s another allegation of the industry “blocking her” something which comes around all too often with UK rap artists in general, particularly King Simbi as of late.
While she doesn’t cite the reason she was given, she’s asked her supporters to @ the station with questions. Radio 1 are yet to respond in any way.

Mind you, it’s not all doom and gloom. Little Simz seems to prove time and time again she doesn’t need the conventional industry means to thrive, as she recently announced a mini festival and comic book in support of her second LP.
