Kennington’s Loski has released his highly-anticipated debut album, Music, Trial & Trauma: A Drill Story.
With multiple projects and street anthems under his belt already, it’s safe to say Loski is one of the top players within the UK drill scene and his new LP is an example of just why he’s proved popular with fans over the years.
Music, Trial & Trauma is a diverse body of work, with Loski displaying his versatility by delivering more playful tracks such as “Flavour” with Stormzy, “Avengers” alongside Fredo and Popcaan and “2am”, as well as coming through with his renowned raw style on “Anglo Saxon” with Blanco and “Teddy Brukshot 2” and more.
In addition to the names mentioned above, the album also features appearances from Aitch, Bandokay, Double Lz, MizOrMac, Akala, Davido, Mike Skinner and Emeli Sande.
“Obviously, music’s my life right now,” Loski said of the album when speaking to Apple Music. “This is how I’m living. I’ve been on trial my whole life. Not even just with my cases, but trials through anything. Football trials, trials through school. In a way, it’s like we’re all on trial.
“And then the trauma that’s been over the last couple of years—and since my early teens, really.”
