Love Island’s Ollie Williams has quit the show three days after entering the villa.
A spokesperson for the show, speaking to the Mirror Online, confirmed the news, saying: “Ollie has made the decision to leave the Love Island villa.”
It is believed Ollie left the villa after realising he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend who he was with for 18 months.
Ollie explained his reasons for leaving in the beach hut, telling his fellow islanders: “I have to be honest with myself, and everyone, that I do still love someone else.
“I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings.
“At the end of the day, this is Love Island and it’s about finding love. If I carried on anything with Paige – or any other girl that might come into the villa – it wouldn’t be fair on them.”
The news comes after Love Island bosses were pressured into removing Ollie from the villa after images of him trophy hunting emerged online. A petition, which has since received over 36,000 signatues was created to urge the show producers to kick Ollie off the show for participating in a “sick and sadistic hobby”.
