Fresh off the release of her debut album, Mabel has released the music video for the track “OK (Anxiety Anthem)”.
Shot in black-and-white, the video reflects the song’s message of empowerment by featuring a range of cast members from different types of backgrounds. As explained by Mabel, the video aims to represent diversity within the media and is a call to embrace individuality. Speaking on “OK (Anxiety Anthem)”, Mabel described it as her “hardest song to write”, aiming to share her personal experiences with mental health through the song and build confidence through the music video.
The song is the twelfth track from her debut album, High Expectations, released on 2nd August 2019.
