A video showing a man wearing an Iron Man mask and being refused entry to Costco has gone viral.

In the clip which was shot at Costco in Hayes, the man can be seen entering the front of the wholesalers behind other patrons who are unmasked.

The other patrons are allowed to enter and shop but the Iron Man mask wearer is told that he cannot proceed with his chosen face covering.

The man is then seen leaving the premises.

In the Instagram caption, UB1UB2 who shared the clip wrote, “Horrible scenes in Costco this morning as the staff discriminate against marvel characters #WeAreAllOne

Costco’s current policy states via their website that, “Effective 23.12.20, we will require all members, guests and employees to wear a face covering (that covers the nose and mouth) at all Costco warehouse locations.”

“Entry to Costco will only be granted to those wearing a face mask or a face shield. Children under the age of 11 are exempt. Please note that the additional requirement to wear a face shield for children over the age of 11 does not affect the requirement in Scotland for children age 5 and over to wear a face-covering

“If a member/guest has a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, they must instead wear a face shield.”

In other face mask news, a woman recently used a thong as an alternative face covering when security confronted her for not wearing a mask.
