It is easy to get lost within in the sheer volume of music that is released on a daily basis, with so many talented individuals homing in on their musical crafts. However, originality never goes unnoticed. Enter Marc Jones, the Croydon born and bred rapper who brings a little something different to the table. His latest track “Wrestling” fuses wordplay and nostalgic references in spreading messages, encouraging hard work and patience.
The track, produced by Sono Emvy, carries a drill type cadence, with Marc expressing the loyalty he has for his team, explaining that his work ethic and dedication is fuelled by his close network. His unconventional approach sees a non-explicit track, which simply gives a glimpse Marc’s perception on life, focusing on the importance of challenging cultural norms, whilst at the same time valuing and enjoying the times spent with your close friends.
