The character made his debut in the ever expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe last year in Captain America: Civil War, but now the Black Panther is stepping out on his own two.
The titular character will be the first black lead in the film universe and is one of the comic book’s most iconic, and the new trailer reveals that the movie is set to follow suit.
Black Panther – aka T’Challa, the king of fictional African country Wakanda – will be played by Chadwick Boseman, while other stars appearing in the film include Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’O, Danai Gurira and Martin Freeman.
London’s very own Daniel Kaluuya, star of the hit film Get Out, is also a part of the ensemble cast, as is Andy Serkis, reprising his role from Avengers: Age Of Ultron as Ulysses Klaue.
