Paris Saint-Germain have provided an update on Kylian Mbappé’s injury last night which sparked a mass brawl on the pitch.
Mbappé was tacked yesterday in the 26th minute by Saint – Etienne’s Loic Perrin and in reaction, a yellow card was issued and players from both teams got physical in reaction to the injury.
Later Perrin was given a red card and seven players were booked for their involvement in the brawl.

Mbappé was left in tears and forced to use crutches and was heard telling France’s President Emmanuel Macron that his ankle “went crack”.
In a statement, PSG said, “Serious right ankle sprain to the external lateral compartment. To be re-evaluated in 72 hours with clinical and ankle imaging analysis.”
The news, of course, casts doubt over whether Mbappé will be able to play in the French League Cup Final which is due to take place on the 31st of July.
Football fans are also worried that Mbappé’s injury might render him playing in the Champions League impossible.
