Mercston has made his big return with a brand-new single dubbed “Podium” and its visuals.
Produced by Era Kid, “Podium” marks Mercs’ first offering since the release of his debut album Top Tier last year and despite the hiatus, he proves his elite spitting skills are still intact on the tune.
On “Podium”, Mercston effortlessly switches flows as usual, letting off straight bars for just under 3 minutes to create a lyric-heavy offering.
Towards the end of the track, Mercston playfully says “Any time you’re talking about top 3, any time you’re talking about top 5…don’t ever leave my name outta that f**king conversation” – and “Podium” is a clear example of why you shouldn’t.
