Stormzy’s #Merky Books has partnered with popular headphone brand Beats to host a three-day pop up shop in the heart of London.
Set to take place between 14-16 November, the #Merky Books Pop-Up Shop will be taking place at the new Beats Residency in Shoreditch and will celebrate creativity in all its aspects, ranging from music and art to filmmaking and directing.
Wretch 32 is due to kick things off on November 14th with a songwriting workshop alongside writer, teacher and researcher Darren Chetty.
Other events during the three-day event include a reading from broadcaster and author Derek Owusu, an illustrator workshop, panel discussions, DJ sets and much more. A screening of the BIFA-nominated film Serious Tingz will be held on the third day, followed by a talk from the actor and director Abdou Cissé
Books, zines and illustrator prints from creators of colour will also be available to buy each day, as well as #Merky Books merchandise.
The pop-up shop is definitely bound to be an insightful experience for all those with a passion for all things creative so make sure you register to be in in with a chance with heading down there.
