The innovative art collective MSCHF has once again grabbed the attention of social media with their latest creation.
Following the success of their Big Red Boots, the Brooklyn-based group has now introduced a mind-boggling miniature handbag that measures a mere 657 by 222 by 700 micrometers, equivalent to the size of a grain of sand.
Inspired by the Louis Vuitton OnTheGo handbag, the MSCHF team has managed to intricately sketch the iconic LV logo on their minuscule item and the company openly admitted that they did not seek permission from Louis Vuitton to use their design.
According to Kevin Wiesner, the chief creative officer of MSCHF, they subscribe to the philosophy of “ask forgiveness, not permission,” as stated in an interview with the New York Times.
The bag was designed to be featured in an upcoming auction hosted by Pharrell’s Joopiter auction house, where it will go on sale, although at what price remains to be seen.
