The latest installment of the GRM radio show saw the legend that is Mike Skinner announce a new upcoming mixtape from The Streets.
Although not completely quiet, having released some singles over the past couple years – it has been over seven years since we’ve seen an official project from the collective that is The Streets and at this point, fans are itching for new music. Nonetheless, Skinner broke the news exclusively on GRM radio in a rather nonchalant fashion.
The upcoming mixtape could possibly see features from an array of artists such as Hak Baker, Jesse James and 67’s Dimzy.
Whilst in the studio, Skinner spoke in length about the current dynamic of the music scene; signing deals, the progression of his sound as well as his decision to return to music and reprise his role at the forefront of The Streets. He also touched on working with Chip and Grim Sickers for his latest single “Call Me In The Morning“.
