Mo Gilligan has been dominating the small screen in recent years and it looks like he’s not done yet as it has now been announced that he will be a panel member on season 2 of the hit show, The Masked Singer UK.
The comedian and presenter revealed the news on his socials, writing: “Excited to announce that I will be joining the panel for series 2 of @maskedsingeruk on @itv held this news in for months but it’s amazing to be joining one of the biggest family entertainment shows in the UK.”
The Masked Singer UK is a fun-filled singing competition between celebrities but their true identities are only revealed towards the end of the show, with the judging panel – which Mo is now a member of – guessing who they think is behind each disguise throughout the episodes.
The panel consists of Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Ken Jeong while Joel Dommett hosts the show.
Speaking on his new role, Mo said: “I can’t wait to join Jonathan, Rita, Davina, Joel and hopefully Ken! Now…let’s get cracking.”
Mo’s new gig on The Masked Singer UK comes after he recently scooped up the Entertainment Performance Award at this year’s BAFTAs for his hosting abilities over on Channel 4’s The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan.
