Mo’Nique recently visited The Breakfast Club, where things got a little heated when touching on various controversial topics which have been the centre of discussion in the entertainment industry.

The tension-filled interview opened up with her addressing Charlamagne with his government name Lenard to address him labelling her donkey of the day for her recent comments and attempt to call for a Netflix boycott over racial and gender bias.

The award-winning actress who has a list of accolades including winning the following awards such as Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA and many more recently took to Instagram to urging her fans to boycott Netflix for gender and racial inequality.

It is said that Netflix had offered the comedian  $500,000 for her own upcoming standup special, however as shown in a recent Instagram post, the Comedian/Actress believed she should be getting paid the same as her peers.

As you can see below, Monique speaks passionately and believes that if she is a so-called “Legend” that Netflix describes her to be, why isn’t she being paid the same amount as her peers.

In the video below we see, all three members of the Breakfast Club go back and forth. However, it is clear that Charlamagne’s comments affected the comedian the most. Not only does she call out Charlagmange at the beginning of the interview stating,”What you’re saying to the community is, as black women, you’re devalued. And if you stand up and you make a stand and you say ‘We need equality’ and we have to say what’s right and what’s fair.”

The comedian later went on to close the interview by comparing the Breakfast Club’s vocal host Charlmagne to a Birth Of A Nation slave. In a mini clip which was captured of air, Monique address Charlamange stating, “You know what, brother? You’re going to hear yourself a lot from me lately. You’re going to hear yourself around the world. We have to explain brothers like you, we do.

“When we watched that movie Birth of a Nation and we saw that man walk his wife into that master’s house, we watched him walk his wife in. Then we watched him go back and get them— you’re that brother.”
