E’Dina Hines, granddaughter of world renowned actor Morgan Freeman, was stabbed on a sidewalk in New York and passed away from the fatal attack.
Reported to have happened yesterday, Police were called to the attack in Washington Heights at 3am. From evidence collected from the investigation thus far, it is reported her boyfriend was the attacker.
Morgan Freeman spoke out on the horrid and tragic incident saying “The world will never know her artistry and talent, and how much she had to offer. Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person. Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.”
The boyfriend has been detained for a further investigation in relation to the killing. Our thoughts go to Hines’ family at this unfortunate and tragic time.
