Here is everything we know about the upcoming ‘Mortal Kombat’ film

With the Mortal Kombat film due for release in March 2021, three new actors have been reported to have been cast.

The three new actors are assumed to be taking on prominent roles with Tadanobu Asano playing Raiden, Mechad Brooks playing Major Jackson Briggs and Sisi Stringer playing Mileena.

Set to be filmed in South Australia, the three new actors join the likes of Ludi Lin and Joe Taslim who were cast earlier in the year.

As well as announcing actors for the film, one of the writers has confirmed that the film will be rated R in the US (rated 15 or higher in the UK) as it will contain fatalities:

Directed by James Wan, the director behind several blockbuster films including Saw, The Conjuring, Furious 7 and Aquaman, the film is expected to be an exciting new reimagining of the original.
