It goes without saying that we are currently in the golden era of television, and probably have been for a while. Great writing is the main reason why we’re currently going through such a purple patch, and it’s the characters at the heart of what keeps is glued to our devices.
Good, well written characters don’t necessarily mean characters that we like, the ones that we loathe are of equal importance, and there have certainly been an innumerable amount of those. Ranker, recently compiled an exhaustive list, of the most hated TV characters of all time voted for by the fans. The list includes characters from far and wide, with protaganists ranging from Barney to Teletubbies, Full Metal Alchemist and The Walking Dead all making an appearance in the extensive list.
