Google has unveiled its highly anticipated “Year In Search” data for 2023, exclusively sharing with us the most searched-for UK rap artists throughout the year.

Topping the list is Russ Millions, whose infectious tracks and dynamic presence have captivated audiences worldwide. Digga D follows closely, securing the second spot with his relentless rise in the rap scene and a monumental show at Royal Albert Hall earlier this year.

Skepta, the grime pioneer, claims the third position, demonstrating his enduring influence on the genre. The fourth spot is occupied by the dynamic duo Krept ad Konan, who made a music return and continued as hosts of BBC show The Rap Game UK. Nines, celebrated for giving us two albums this year, secures the fifth spot.

Ocean Wisdom, known for his rapid-fire delivery, takes the sixth spot, while the lasting appeal of the duo Rizzle Kicks lands them at seventh place. Kano, a seasoned veteran in the scene, secures the eighth position after closing out his role as Sully in Top Boy, followed by Roots Manuva at ninth, reaffirming his iconic status in British hip-hop.

Closing the top ten are rap-leaning R&B group WSTRN and J Hus, who had a monumental smash alongside Drake this year.
