The Daily Duppy freestyle series is one of the UK’s most coveted and established platforms.

Launched over a decade ago and featuring performances from the likes of Chip, Stormzy, Tion Wayne, Blade Brown, Potter Payper, Krept and Konan, Giggs, Ghetts, AJ Tracey and more, the Daily Duppy freestyle stands firm as one of the most important cultural elements in modern-day British music.

To celebrate reaching 5 million subscribers, releasing hundreds of Daily Duppy freestyles and perhaps showcasing hundreds of thousands of animations across all of the videos, we’ve put together a list of the top ten most viewed Daily Duppy freestyles of all time as of March 2022.

Did your favourite make the list? Let us know on socials.

10) Central Cee – 8.5 Million Views

Released on Christmas Day, this surprise Daily Duppy from Central Cee was a very welcome gift. The freestyle was offered as a teaser to the West London artist’s mixtape 23 and since its release, Central Cee’s freestyle has become the platform’s highest-charting Daily Duppy freestyle to date with the audio peaking at number 35 on the official singles chart.

9) Clavish – 8.5 Million Views

Hailing from North London, Clavish is a special artist who continues. To excite the scene with his clever and thought-provoking brand of UK rap.

Released in October 2020, Clavish’s 8 minute long freestyle remains a deserving gem in the Daily Duppy catalogue thanks to its raw themes, lyrical effort and its narrative explorations. Coming in at 8 minutes and 13 seconds, this freestyle holds the crown for the longest ever Daily Duppy. Ranking at number nine on the list, this video has over 8.45 million views and counting.

8) OFB – 8.8 Million Views

The first drill offering on this list comes from the OFB boys – Bandokay, Double Lz and Izzpot.

Despite a few hiccups with the initial upload, this Daily Duppy freestyle is the eighth-most viewed of all time and the only crew entry on this list.

Produced by Sensei, Bigzy and Ebononthetrack, the instrumentals on this one are varied and juxtaposing – offering the OFB guys the perfect canvas to showcase their versatility.

7) MoStack – 9.6 Million Views

Produced by TSB, Mo Stacks’ 2019 Daily Duppy freestyle comes in at number 7 on this list.

One of the top comments on this video says “This is probably one of the hardest daily duppies ever” and the reaction it received back in 2019 proves that this is a fair statement.

With emotive bars, animation, aggression and double entendres, MoStack put his all into this one before dedicating his final bars to close collaborator and friend J Hus and his other friends who were incarcerated at the time.

MoStack had the internet shouting “Free J Hus” for hours with this one.

6) Abra Cadabra- 13 Million Views

Produced by M1OnTheBeat, Abra Cadabra’s Daily Duppy with 12.9 million views is the next drill release to make the top 10.

Delivered in his unique and instantly identifiable deep cadence, Abra Cadabra offered a balanced, lyrical and sharp freestyle with this release. The Tottenham hailing artist offers personable and raw retellings on this one that hears Abz spray straight bars for just under 5 minutes.

A standout Daily Duppy, the freestyle also marks one of Abz’ standout tracks overall.

Not bad at all for his Daily Duppy debut!

5) J Hus – 14 Million Views

Produced by TSB & Nyge, this Daily Duppy dropped in April 2019 when Hus was released from jail.

A raw and open release, Hus used the freestyle to write a letter to his fans and explain the events that led to his incarceration.

Touching on mental health, religion and more, this freestyle from Hus is his most-watched one on the GRM channel and for good reason.

Hus stuck to a single instrumental on this one and poured out his soul for its entirety. With 13.9 million views, this Daily Duppy remains a much-loved drop, thanks of course to Hus’ precise pen and deep bars.

4) Aitch – 15.4 Million Views

When Aitch’s Daily Duppy dropped back in 2018, the artist took centre stage as he kicked off the series’ new season.

Aitch hadn’t yet charted with tracks like “Taste” or “Rain” and this freestyle was just before he was catapulted to UK stardom.

Performing in a Moncler, Aitch offered up his usual cheeky bars over the WhyJay produced instrumental and following on from his “Straight Rhymez” freestyle, this Daily Duppy from Aitch shook the internet once again when it dropped and the video remained the most viewed Daily Duppy freestyle for a while before it was recently dethroned.

3) French The Kid – 17.4 Million Views

French The Kid is the only artist on this list who raps in another language on his freestyle.

Switching between English and French, the Essex hailing artist was inspired to give music a try after watching his mother sing, perform and play in Irish pubs.

Produced by Kazzaprod, Prodkxvi, Lovelife and French The Kid himself, French showcased so much talent on this one that it is no wonder why the video has over 17 million views.

2) Digga D – 20.8 Million Views

Currently, the second most viewed Daily Duppy freestyle of all time comes from Digga D.

Produced by Ace Beats and Honeywood Six, this freestyle was a raw and direct one from Digga who took fans back to his Next Up? Days thanks to his cruddy bars and deeper cadence.

With constant double entendres, references to popular culture and wordplay, this freestyle is one of Digga’s many displays of excellent lyricism.

When it was teased on social media, fans of the artist went wild in anticipation

1) Fredo – 32.1 Million Views

The most viewed Daily Duppy of all time belongs to Third Avenue’s Fredo.

A solid performance, Fredo offered straight raw rap from the onset with this one and offered fans the bars that they had been longing for after a quiet season from the artist.

Fredo opened his 2021 Wireless Festival set with this release and had the crowd spitting his lyrics back to him word for word.

An intelligent and superb 6-minute long freestyle release, Fredo’s Daily Duppy freestyle peaked at number 46 on the charts and has over 31.9 million views and counting.
