Nigeria’s Mr Eazi is back with a brand-new solo single dubbed “The Don”, along with details of his upcoming EP.
The Killertunes and E Kelly-produced track is infused with a smooth tone which Mr Eazi matches with his light melodies which have proved popular with fans in recent years.
“The Don” is expected to feature on Mr Eazi’s forthcoming EP, Something Else, which is out on February 19 and comes after a busy 2020 for the artist who expanded his emPawa Africa initiative and launched the Africa Music Fund in 2020.
“I spent the entire year working on building emPawa Africa and morphing into ‘Don Eazi’, the mogul,” MR EAZI said of 2020. “I almost had no time to record. This project was inspired by Kel P and Killertunes, who kept coming to meet me in Accra until I finally recorded “The Don”. That opened the door for me getting back in the studio.”
