Munroe Bergdorf has gotten herself into further controversy following her appearance on Good Morning Britain this morning.

The model, who many know from the recent race controversy with L’Oreal earlier this year when she was dropped from their campaign for comments she made about racism on social media, has sparked a massive backlash for using the n-word in a debate on Good Morning Britain.

During a debate about Twitter’s new restrictions on freedom of speech to prevent hate crimes on social media, alongside hosts Piers Morgan and Sussana Reid and broadcaster Edward Adoo, Bergdorf repeatedly used the word “n*****” and had to be told to stop in a very awkward moment on live British TV.

Although Bergdorf was arguing in support of Twitter’s recent suspension of Britain First leaders Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen’s accounts, her repetitive use of the n-word was not received well, forcing Adoo to interject saying, “You’ve said it so many times. It’s breakfast TV, I don’t think that’s right.”

The model went on Twitter later today to defend her use of the word stating, “My use of the n-word on the show was with reference to what I personally am called almost on a daily basis by such individuals.” However, some retaliated to her comments on social media slating the model for using double standards.
