For those of you that are keen to break into the music industry – whether it be as a Presenter or Producer, as a DJ or Songwriter, as a Performer or just interested to learn about the business then Music Potential is for you.

With Music Potential you can build on existing skills in creative workshops, work experience, one-to-one mentoring and opportunities to apply for paid apprenticeships.

If you’re lucky enough to be within 16 and 25 years old you’re also lucky enough to be able to enter. The only other requirement is that you are NOT in full-time education, employment or training (NEET). Music Potential aims to improve skills and develop talent of the next generation in order to enhance their employability – ultimately enabling them a better chance to break into the music industry and start a career within it.

To help entrants gain experience, mentoring and performance opportunities, Music Potential provides access to a wide-range of music and entertainment-related partnerships.

On top of all of these excellent opportunities, Capital XTRA have linked up with Barclaycard to offer Music Potential participants the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

So, if you are aged 16-25 years old and currently not working or studying then Capital XTRA’s Music Potential is the programme for you. Find out how to get involved below!
