Hackney singer-songwriter Mychelle has given the visual treatment to “Pressure”, taken from her brand-new EP.
Connecting with producer Charlie J Perry, Mychelle creates a minimalistic yet heartfelt offering on this track and speaks on overcoming pressure and letting go.
“I wrote the song during lockdown,” Mychelle says. “A time when it was easy to feel like you weren’t doing enough. I kept thinking about what I needed to tell myself and I realised, there’s no need to apply so much pressure on myself. I just need to be and not allow myself to be so consumed by everything around me”.
The “Pressure” visuals coincide with the release of Mychelle’s Someone Who Knows EP which features the soulful, ENNY-assisted single “Forbidden Fruit”.
