Netflix has finally announced that it intends to allow users to download their favourite shows and watch them on the move.
In terms of Netflix’s competitors this has been one of the main features that Netflix has lacked in the past and allowed their rivals to capitalise.
Being receptive to their user’s requirements and the market climate, the feature will finally be available today on Android and iOS devices.
Eddy Wu, the director of product innovation, commented saying, “While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where internet is expensive or limited.”
The ability to download and watch shows on the go will be offered at no extra cost to users and looks set to include movies and many TV series like Narcos, Orange Is the New Black and The Crown, with the view to add a wider selection in the not too distant future.
This could very well be a game changer for you Netflix and Chillers out there.
