The multi-talented Nia Archives has accompanied the release of her latest single, “Luv Like”, with a fresh set of visuals.
Despite its upbeat tempo, “Luv Like” is a powerful, self-produced track from Nia Archives who explores her own experiences with body image, singing on the chorus: “To think that you, could ever love someone like me/ ‘Cause I’m far from perfection.”
The track is taken from Nia’s forthcoming project, Forbidden Feelingz, which is out on March 10.
“Although at first listen this track sounds like a typical love song, for me, when creating it I was writing about my personal struggle with body dysmorphia,” Nia said of the song. “Throughout the track I am pondering how someone could love someone through their highs and lows, loving freely flaws and all.
“I am also talking about learning to accept love whilst ultimately dealing with a warped perception of self and distorted self-image.”
