With October being Black History Month, Nike are releasing a special jersey to celebrate the occasion.
Containing an afrofuturism-inspired design on a dri-fit t-shirt, the jersey is a celebration of the success of black football players and will come in a black colourway, as well as a white one.
Nike have described the jerseys as being as a tribute to “black British athletes and the community leaders making changes to inspire the next generation.”
The release of Nike’s Black History Month jerseys comes after several of England’s players were subjected to racial abuse during last night’s Euro qualifier by some of Bulgaria’s fans.
The jersey will be available to purchase from nike.com now.
