Niko Omilana has made it his mission to show that no challenge is too big for him to conquer. From pranking the KKK to disfiguring Mona Lisa, Niko has become synonymous with achieving things most people simply wouldn’t even begin to pull off.
The Penny Challenge sees Niko take this sentiment further by attempting to wheel and deal his way from just a single pence to as much money as possible. Tasked with an hour of time, the result is a frenzy of negotiation and bartering as Niko seeks to beat the record Ryan Trahan of £17.05 set in NYC last year.
Testament to the success of Niko is the brands supporting him with videos like this. In this particular video, Niko is sponsored by Revolut, who pledged to match however much money he makes. It doesn’t feel like that long ago that he was on the come-up, doing whatever he could to gain attention; the tide is obviously shifting.
