It has been announced that Nines is in the running to for this week’s Number 1 album with his latest LP, Crabs In A Bucket.
The Official Charts announced the news in a tweet, writing: “@nines1ace is in the running for this week’s Number 1 album with Crabs In A Bucket.”
In the mid-week charts, Crabs In A Bucket – which is the most streamed album of the week so far – is currently sitting at Number 3, following All Rise by Gregory Porter at Number 2 and Metallica’s S&M2 at Number 1.
If Nines’ Crabs In A Bucket claims the Number 1 spot at the end of the week, the project would be the north London artists’ first ever UK Number 1 album. His previous LP’s Crop Circle and One Foot Out peaked at Number 5 and Number 4 respectively.
