It’s been a few years since we last got a project from Nines but it looks like that’s about to change as he’s now announced his forthcoming album, Crop Circle 2.
The Ice City Boyz rapper took to Instagram last night (April 14) to tease the project in an Instagram video where he can be seen in a field with the words “Crop Circle 2” spelled out in fire.
Crop Circle 2 will be the sequel to Nines’ 2018 album which peaked at Number 5 in the UK Albums Chart. Two years later, Nines secured even more chart success when his Crabs In A Bucket LP landed him his first ever UK Number 1.
Since then he has appeared on a string of singles, such as Potter Payper’s “Gangsteritus” remix and KSI’s “Not Over Yet” remix, but Crop Circle 2 will be his first piece of solo material since 2020. A release date for the album is yet to be announced.
Given his previous chart positions and the anticipation for new music from Nines, this project is bound to make serious waves when it does arrive.
