A new Nintendo Switch console is rumoured to drop early next year, according to Video Games Chronicle (VGC).
Gaming fans woke up hyped today (August 25) with news that the highly anticipated Switch Pro is allegedly dropping in the first quarter of 2021 on the fourth anniversary of the original product.
The initial news report came from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, with the news gaining more traction from VGC‘s translation to english in their report.
The new version of the console is promised to deliver on a better display and “more interactive” with the majority of the details not being privy to the public.
Rumours of the Switch Pro’s 2021 release began to swirl after an earnings call in January, when Shuntaro Furukawa, the Nintendo President, said players shouldn’t anticipate a new version of the switch before the new year.
With details still in the air do you think you’ll be cashing in on the new switch when it drops?
