A new single between Jay-Z and the late, great Nipsey Hussle titled “What It Feel Like” has arrived.

Prior to Nipsey’s tragic passing in 2019, the Los Angeles rapper had established a connection with Jay Z based on their hustles and drive, with Hov famously purchasing over 100 physical copies of Nip’s Crenshaw mixtape which was being sold for $100 apiece in 2013.

Following Nipsey’s passing, Jigga paid tribute to the rapper on Beyonce’s “MOOD 4 EVA”, saying: “The marathon will be televised for N.I.P. / ‘Cause true kings don’t die, we multiply, peace.”

“What It Feels Like” is the first collaboration from the pair and carries a sophisticated rap feel which complements the monumental feel of the record.

The track is taken from the soundtrack to Judas & The Black Messiah; biographical drama centred on the life of American activist and Black Panther member, Fred Hampton, who’s played by the UK’s very own Daniel Kaluuya.
